Pump up the jam!

BPM: Beatdowns Per Minute #1 takes you to Stone City at the height of 1992’s techno club scene, where a notorious criminal syndicate rules the streets with drugs, thugs and an army of ninjas. When a mysterious new drug called ‘BPM’ hits the clubs, two martial arts cops called Maya and Ashby gear up for the fight of their lives.

Set over one night of face-punching, ass-kicking action, BPM is a love letter to old-school beat em’ up games, such as Streets of Rage, Final Fight and Double Dragon, as well as action movie classics like Commando, Die Hard and Police Story.

Issue #1 of BPM has it all – ‘90s cool, hard-hitting action, massive explosions, gaming references, dark humour and plenty of martial arts carnage to satisfy the warrior within you.

“It should be easy. I mean, this is a 5/5 comic – and you should never start a review by saying that.”

“you’ll get so much out of this series that you just might become a sci-fi person yourself! It’s that engaging!
